More and more organisations are recognising the power of TPM to complement
and accelerate the gains from their Lean and/or Six Sigma improvement
programmes. Its capability to engage production and maintenance functions

TPM provides the route map to reduce quality defects, improve process
flexibility and release management/specialist time to focus on longer
term business development.
Learn how to apply TPM tools to secure zero breakdowns, increase flexibility/capacity and establish the foundations for year on year improvement in OEE. During this
workshop, participants will systematically apply a proven combination
of over 20 TPM improvement techniques to a live manufacturing
process. This is one of the reasons why the workshop is spread
over 3 days. The practical application provides participants
with essential experience of using TPM. This together with an electronic copy of the course workbook and action planing sessions are designed to aid the transfer of lessons learned
on return to the workplace. Furthermore, these activities are
carried out in teams providing the opportunity for participants
to understand the teamworking and leadership processes needed
to deliver lasting change and the successful application of TPM techniques. |

as improvements are made and firefighting is reduced, jobs can
be realigned to release specialist resources and provide the
opportunity to up skill others. This one day workshop helps

Store rooms are the sort of places that are used by many people
but are prone to wasting time. Particularly if the store is
unmanned for part of the working day. The end result is that
people order more than they really need because they cannot
find what is in stock, whilst others hoard personal supplies
of parts just in case.
It is a place where time and money can be saved through better
organisation particularly when combined with activities to build
ownership amongst users
This one day workshop provides an introduction to assessing
the end to end stores function from sourcing to part usage and
replenishment. Although the material uses examples from an engineering
stores, the technique is relevant to anyone with a storage problem
to solve. |
